eBay I have driven and owned cars from all walks of life. From an antique pickup truck to luxury exotics, this has been one of my favorite cars. I have babied the car the same way I take care of my finest of automobiles, keeping it in a temperature and humidity controlled show-car garage and being very deliberate with how and when I drive the vehicle. From a practicality standpoint, it is one on the easiest cars to live with, as it has a real backseat and trunk, as well as a smooth ride, all-wheel drive, and plenty of tech and luxury. It is truly sad to part with it, but I am moving. On the other hand, it is absolutely stunning to look at, listen to, and especially drive. With aesthetic and performance upgrades to give the car that extra bit of edge that it needed, the car pulls the same kind of head turns that you would find driving an Aston Martin, if not honestly more. I made the aesthetic modifications to keep in line with it's classic design, which has been said over and over to be the best sports car design since the turn of the century. All of that work was done by Audi themselves with the exception of the paint, which was done by Macco, a little over a year ago in BMW's Black Sapphire Metallic. The depth of the paint really accentuates the gorgeous lines of the car, which I did not find with the standard Audi paint. It also complements the silver and carbon fiber accents perfectly in a beautiful contrast. Some minor updates to the interior aesthetically have been done, especially the steering wheel, which fixes the Takata airbag recall issue. There are some minor cosmetic flaws, but things that are hardly noticeable, such as a few tiny paint chips and minor wear on the interior. For a car of its age, it is immaculate condition, especially mechanically. The vehicle had two previous owners before myself. I purchased the car from a Ford dealer in Denver, Colorado, where the owner of the chain of dealers had bought the car for his son, after his son never came to pick it up (with new tires on it). The car lived in Colorado for only a few months, spending most of its time in the Audi of Denver service center where the majority of the work was done. They went over everything from the 50,000mi maintenance again, as well as the 60,000mi maintenance (as it sat just above 60k mi on the odometer) and replaced anything that showed any sign of wear. This went down to things like brakes, engine hoses, any wiring, etc... They then serviced the car for a recall for a fuel consumption issue which led them to rebuild the entire motor (about a month's process). Audi of Denver then covered it up and shipped the car to me in Connecticut. I drove the car all last summer before storing it for the cold season until this summer. The exhaust system was rebuilt by hand by a professional exhaust shop on the outskirts of Boston (from high recommendation) at the beginning of the summer. It is a cat-back stainless steel straight-pipe system, bent and welded by hand, finished in a rust coating and double-walled chrome tips made to last a lifetime. To accommodate the larger outlets, it is finished off with a Rieger carbon fiber rear-diffuser that looks incredible. The system sounds out of this world (I am happy to provide a video of how it sounds and does NOT change emissions). This, in addition to the ECU chip which has many customizable settings to increase efficiency or performance, really gives the car the extra umph of power that it needed to make it the perfect driver's car. It has more than enough to make it a top of the line power plant with the efficiency of a smaller engine. After having driven many large engined cars, I can honestly say this one really moves like the others. Once getting to know the car and the transmission specifically, it is outstanding to drive and the sound brings a lot of extra enjoyment too, especially with the soft-top down (which is in excellent condition). The car just had its 75,000mi maintenance (which is almost entirely highway miles in the sun with the top down!) and detailing a few weeks ago by Audi of Manhattan (where it has been serviced since coming to the East Coast), where we went through the whole process again replacing everything down the the low pressure fuel pump (which is inside the fuel tank and requires the fuel tank to be cut out of the car and rebuilt), as it showed some wear. Since, the car has mostly sat in the garage, as I was away most of the summer. I have a file of all records of work done to the car should you have any questions. It comes with everything you see in the photos (rubber mats all around and so on), as well as the waterproof emergency key, second main key, file book, touch up paint, original rear-diffuser, and new covers for the seat adjustment buttons with silver trim (I may have forgotten a small thing or two, so maybe a little surprise!). The front license plate can be mounted on grill, but I thought it looked silly so I put it in the window temporarily (which is legal in my state but check your state law and not distracting as it is mostly out of the way). I will hand deliver the car to the buyers location should it be within around 100-150mi, otherwise shipping is at the buyer's expense and responsibility. Feel free to contact me with any questions. As you can tell, I love this car and no expense was spared maintaining it and getting it front-line ready.
