After years of work and fun memories it's time for me to sell my van. The outside definitely makes a statement, covered in original work by a couple of world famous graffiti artists--Atomik, Binho, Guerilla Garden, and Feik. The inside was converted by me over the course of two years worth of weekends, from an empty shell to a fully outfitted camper van that seats five and sleeps three. The following is a list of what I've done to it:
300 watt solar system with two 100 amp/hour deep cycle agm batteries12v DC powered refrigerator with super efficient Danfoss compressorInterior and exterior LED lightingRooftop Fan-tastic vent fanUpgraded Pioneer stereo with Pioneer speakers and 12in Rockford Fosgate Subwoofer12v TV and audio amplifierRooftop LED lightbarFully insulated roof, walls, and floor using polyiso foam panels and roxul battingFloors and wheel wells covered in 100 square feet of mass loaded vinyl to dampen road noiseCurt trailer hitch and light harnessFoot pump sink with 5 gallon clean and gray water tanksBlackout covers for all 6 widowsSlide-out futon converts to bed which sleeps two, rear murphy bed sleeps oneBike garage under murphy bed doubles as extra storage for camping gear or other bulky itemsTons of storage--closet, upper and lower kitchenette cabinets and drawers, shelf above cab, laundry cabinet, and all of the space under the futon.
Unfortunately I recently needed to replace the engine so I have to sell it to pay off that bill. The good news for you is that you get the peace of mind of an engine with only 115,000 miles that has just been completely inspected by a mechanic and given a clean bill of health. I am, I believe, the third owner, and it's been well taken care of its whole life. I have a folder with its complete 14 year service history. It has very little rust for a Sprinter of its age, every year I have ground out any new rust spots and repainted them.
I'm willing to drive it anywhere in the continental US to deliver it for the price of airfare back to MI, but I'm sure you'll want to pick it up and take that first road trip yourself.
