eBay For sale is my once super reliable car I used to get through graduate school. I purchased the vehicle in 2016 to drive back and forth to Erie, Pa. I have changed the rack and pinion, fuel pump and water pump at 225000, transmission at 230,000 miles and the timing belt at 252,146. The problem: about 2 months ago we had a bad night of rain and I had parked my car on the street because I had gotten a flat on my way home from my mechanics shop after getting the timing belt changed. The storm drains on my street were clogged in front of my home with debris and as my luck would have it, the street flooded water got into the car. Coming originally from down south I knew better than to try to start the vehicle. I got it towed to my mechanic and there it sat. My mechanic has never gotten around to trying to fix the car and I no longer need the car at this point and purchased a new truck and have no interest in dumping money to fix it. Water got into the car to about the level of the seat (I have pics). I am not interested in parting the car out. The car does power up (as you can see on the dash which I took a picture of this morning) when the key is turned but does not turn over. I purchased a new battery, the body is in good condition, transmission is great and the body is decent, but does smell like stagnant water. Come pick the car up, I have a clean title in hand. Not interested in trades.
