For sale is my super clean, low mileage RS6. Anyone looking at this car knows what it is so I won't go into great detail on factory specs, etc. I will however go in to detail on everything I know pertaining to this particular car.
According to the CarFax (Clean Carfax), the car was purchased new in CT at Danbury Porsche in 2003. In 2009 at 23,525 miles the timing belt service was completed (Audi Recommends every 35k miles). In 2011 I found this car for sale at a dealership in Conshohocken, PA for a friend of mine who had been looking for one. During his ownership the car was meticulously maintained and garage kept. In the 6.5 years he owned the car he manage add less than 7k miles to the odometer. This past spring I had the opportunity to buy it from him after 3 years of talking about it. Right before I purchased it he installed a new full control arm kit. Once it was in my possession, I had a 4 wheel alignment done, oil change, transmission fluid change and the car looked completely over.
The transmission shifts flawlessly (early models were know for having issues) and the DRC hydraulic suspension is leak free and working as is should (these eventual fail and most people replace with coil-overs as that's the cheaper option). My friend had installed a Clarion DVD/Navigation unit with backup cam and there is a hidden 10 inch Morel sub-woofer in the trunk. If I were to keep this car I would probably swap out the clarion unit for an A RNS-E navigation unit as I feel it would blend in better with the dash. You can find these on Ebay pretty cheap these days. The original clear bra is still intact and has keep the car virtually chip free over the years. I haven't found any dings on the car but the are some minor scratches. At some point in time, someone installed a Milltek exhaust on the car which sounds amazing. I figured it was the factory sound enhancing exhaust until I got it on a lift for pictures and was pleasantly surprised to see a $1,200 exhaust on the car..
Known Issues that are pretty minor: The car does have some slight oil leaks. One is at the transmission output shaft and drips onto the O2 sensor, the other must be the oil pan seal as I noticed a drip forming on the head of one of the torx bolts when I had it on the lift for pictures. The headliner sags in the rear at both sides of the dome light. I didn't even notice this until I was taking pictures. 2 of the clips that mount the front engine cover are missing. The rear underneath clips do however prevent it from moving. The fuel gauge is off by 3/8 of a tank. It reads full longer than it should and is empty at 3/8. I'm told it's most likely the sending unit.
Ebay would only let me upload 24 pictures so please message me for more. I have a lot including undercarriage photos as well as the carfax report. The car will come with a handful of Audi oil filters, a fuel filter and K&N air filters. 2 keys are included as well as all the original manuals and window sticker showing an msrp of $86,010!
I really don't want to sell it as I'm sure I'll never be able to replace it. Unfortunately reality has set in and I have to may cars and this particular one kicked my wife's Escalade out of the garage. She hasn't been real happy considering it's winter (I suppose that's justified) and I'm sick of hearing about it.
Please message me with any questions or for more photos. $1000 deposit due at the time of buy it now The remaining balance is due withing 7 days via wire transfer. Tittle in hand. I will not ship the car but will assist in coordinating with a shipper of your choice. The car will not leave my possession until funds clear. Any potential buyer is encouraged to come see the car in person. You'll be hard pressed to find one with lower mileage or nicer!
