I have a 2001 Toyota Prius up for sale. It was running fine until a few weeks ago; I performed some routine maintenance and replaced the spark plugs, MAF and PCV valve. After replacing these parts it would turn on and shake and only drives in limp mode. It now has a misfire code.
Since then I put the old PCV valve back in an attempt to fix the problem but it hasn't helped. I don't have the time or space to fix the car and don't think its worth taking to a mechanic so I am selling it.
The car has about 240,000 miles on it, the HYBRID BATTERY was replaced about 8 years ago by Toyota and is going strong.
Apart from the problem listed above, the car is running great!
New shocks and springs put in about 30,000 miles back.
My loss is truly your gain.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Car drives up to 40 mph with some shaking. Would recommend tow truck to be safe!
