eBay I bought this Boxster and started upgrading it for open track racing at Willow Springs and Auto Club Speedway. Now I just don't have the time and my main race buddy never shows up anymore, so here we go. .
My upgrades:* Lowered drivers floor pan with new plate and Sparco Sprint seat with 6-point Schroth Racing harness, which at 6'4 tall keeps me safely under the factory roll hoops. This was done by Dan at Speed Gallery in North Hollywood. * Replaced stock muffler with WickedFlow exhaust system, allowing a bit more HP and I can actually hear it from the driver's seat.* New front rotors and ceramic front brake pads.* Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on the rear with Life of Tire Maintenace at America's Tire.* Disconnected the sway bar for better grip in the rear. I still have the nut.* Repaired 2 wheels and removed curb rash from all 4.
I never got far enough into it to replace the fancy wheels with lighter ones and racing tires, but it's the best looking Boxster on the track. There are Pirelli P-Zeros on the front with a lot of life left.
If you're near 6'5 tall and want a well-balanced superb track car you will fit safely in, this is the one for you. If you're shorter in stature, the seat and floor plate have adjustable mounting hole locations you can tailor to your needs. The secure feeling when strapped into this will let you concentrate on your cornering instead of trying to stay in your seat.
The vehicle has been well maintained throughout it's life. Most recent services took place at Euromotors in Torrance, Speed Gallery in North Hollywood, and Boulevard Auto Repair in Sherman Oaks. The ill-fated factory original INS bearing has been replaced, with new seals and clutch at the same time in 2015. The lock/unlock buttons on the key don't work, but it starts the car just fine.
I have the original motorized driver seat, muffler w/ mounts, Owner's manual and assorted factory booklets, recent maintenance receipts, and a 472 page parts PDF manual I downloaded on line and will provide on a thumb drive to buyer. Car cover included but there's a small tear on the front left corner. I also have the mesh windbreaks for the roll loops, and the flush cap that covers the hole where the tow hook is in the pictures. Sorry I didn't put it back for the photos, but the cap was at home and vehicle at work...
I only posted about half the photos I took, so if you're interested in seeing more I can send out a zip file Dropbox link via email.

This is the final price reduction for a good, quick and responsive California car. You won't be dissapointed.
