Was my grocery shopping car to save miles on my truck until the earthquake struck! I was driving along Vine rd when all of the sudden the car dropped and the airbags deployed. Little did I know that I had made it through a massive earthquake that destroyed the section of road that I was on.
Originally purchased it with 57,000 miles on. Car does have a salvage title as their was damage to the rear quarter panel which was fixed. Have had car for almost 11 years. Car needs new tie rod, radiator, brake line, headlight and turn signal to be drive-able. Airbags did deploy.
This car is now a piece of history after having been featured in numerous articles and on TV worldwide as a showcase of the effects of the Alaska earthquake.
Buyer will need to make arrangements with me to pick up the car in Big Lake Alaska. Could make a great center piece for an exhibit on the earthquake!
