A Professionally built, turnkey 1989 25th anniversary Lamborghini Countach replica. This car was Professionally built by Demetrios at Exotic Illusions in Archbald, PA. He has retired and there will be no more replicas to be made by exotic illusions. So this is one of the last ones. It is built on an 86 Fiero that has been stretched to the correct wheelbase. It is insured and titled as such, which saves a ton on insurance and taxes. There are just over 9,000 miles on the build.
The interior of the car is great. I’m not sure if it’s genuine leather or not, but it looks like it. It’s very clean and very well done. The dash, seats, carpet, are all very clean.
All the gauges and interior lights work great. It has an AM/FM CD player that works, but I never listen to it. I’d rather listen to the engine. The seats are nice and comfortable.
The AC blows nice and cold and keeps the interior nice and cool, even in the Southern summer.
As for the exterior, it’s in great shape as well. Most of the body is fiberglass. I think there’s a couple of metal pieces on there, mostly on the wing. Since it’s done by a pro there are none of the issues in bodywork or paint that is so common with amateur jobs such as “orange peel” or “spiderweb”. The color is a one that Chevy uses to paint Corvettes, so touchup paint is readily available. No evidence of previous damage. All the rubber seals for the doors, trunk, engine cover, and front lid are all there and in good shape. All of the doors and lids operate like they should and are easy to open and close. It has Pirelli P-Zero tires with lots of life left.
Mechanical:
The engine is a carbureted 5.7L Chevy V8 with a 5 speed manual transmission. It runs strong and sounds wonderful. It is cooled with a Dedenbear electric water pump mounted to a Dedenbear water header. I recently replaced the old Moroso electric water pump with the Dedenbear one. It does not have any overheat issues that is so common with these cars. Even the genuine ones overheat. AC works. Power mirrors work. The pop-up lights work (see video). The battery is new-ish (less than a year I believe). It is a very reliable car. The car runs great. Drives great at highway speeds. It’s a fast and powerful car, unlike the many other replicas with 6 cylinder engines in them. No oil leaks, coolant leaks, or AC system leaks. The clutch grabs as it should. It has an alarm system. The horn doesn’t work, but all the parts are there. It could be just a fuse or disconnected wire. I really haven’t looked into it much.
The transmission is a manual 5 speed, so you’ll need to know how to drive a stick, or learn!
The car is an absolute blast to drive and gets an incredible amount of attention everywhere it goes. It’s hard to describe what it does to people and traffic. Everyone takes pictures: while you’re driving down the road, stopped at a light, getting gas, parked at a restaurant, you name it.
I’ve included a video walkaround. If you have any questions just ask. I can provide more pictures upon request. The car is sold as-is.
Now for the yucky part:
DO NOT BID if you don’t have the money. Do not bid if you don’t intend on paying. Do not bid if you need your significant other’s permission unless you have their permission. If you have zero feedback, do not bid without contacting me first. Only bid if you intend on paying.
I’ll take PayPal down payment. Cash is king, really anything as long as it’s a certified form of payment. The car can’t leave my property without the funds clearing first.
$500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction close. The balance is due in 7 days.
I can’t and won’t ship, BUT I can and will help with shipping on my end as far as loading and dealing with a shipping company. You have to hire and pay for shipping though. You’re also more than welcome to come pick it up in person.
The last picture is how the car is without the black plastidip trim. I prefer the black trim around the signal lights and the black around the door handle. If you don’t like it. It can be peeled off.
Please ask questions. I’m here to help.
