This is my 1989 Cadillac Allante finished in black with a tan interior. The car starts up and drives as it should. This Allante has always been a southern car being purchased new in Hattiesburg, MS and I am the second owner. I wouldn't hesitate to drive the car cross country, but although the tires have plenty of tread, they are getting some age on them. Parts I have replaced this past year are: new front, AC Delco struts, rebuilt injectors, valve cover gaskets, intake gasket, spark plugs, spark plug wires, rebuilt brake accumulator, battery, flushed brake system, and a new fuel pump and strainer. The body has a few dings and scratches which can be seen in the pictures. The rear bumper is cracked which is common with these. The leather Recaro seats are not torn and still have their rich, tan color. The driver's seat bolster does have some wear from entering and exiting the car. The driver's seat doesn't move in all directions, but you can hear motors whirring. It is just right for me and haven't looked into this. I haven't tried the passenger seat. The carpets are in good condition, too. The digital dash lights up as it should and there is no LCD bleeding in the center stack like some Allantes are plagued with. The message Anti Lock Disabled is displayed in the Driver's Information Center, but the car stops fine. The radio powers on, but doesn't work since the cassette deck thinks there is a tape there; the cassette player just clicks. The A/C probably needs a recharge as it doesn't blow cold. The sunvisors are loose, but are being held out of the way by a bungee cord. I haven't had the hardtop off in my ownership and don't know the condition of the soft top. I prefer the look of the car with the hardtop, therefore it never interested me to take it off. The hardtop stand, factory shop manual, owner's manual, extra driver's door window regulator, and some club magazines will be included with the sale.
I have given an accurate description of the car, but if you have any questions, please message me. I will require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit through paypal within 24 hours of purchasing the car. The balance is due in seven days with certified funds. The vehicle is being sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied.
