You are bidding on an incomplete project MGB roadster. The auction includes parts needed, as far as I know, to complete the build except a transmission and a gas tank. I have a T5 transmission. that would go on the engine, but intend to use it on another project. It is possible that I can make it available, however. The build manual is very detailed. I think, even I could follow it. I have spent many hours striping off the black paint that someone foolishly painted over the yellow. Because it is so hard to cover every part of a car, my intention had been to go back to yellow. The car is mostly ready for paint, though not completely. I had the underside bead blasted and have applied Por 15 to it, as well as the interior. Body work needed: 1. Half floor on driver side, full floor on passenger side. (I have the sheet metal)2. Tiny holes in boot. After thinking about it, an easy and inexpensive fix would be to put resin in, the holes are so tiny.3. The rear valance will need some work. My restoration shop advised it was an easy fix.4. There is a dent behind driver's door. Again, shop said it is easy fix.5. Complete prep and paint.Note that the car has an aftermarket hard top. I don't have the soft top. This is a really nice project that I have morphed past because I am building an MGB GT with a 2.3 turbo Ford engine. Mileage is unknown but ebay requires a number. You must send a $500 deposit through PayPal within 48 hours. Good luck with the auction.
