Up for auction is a nice driver quality 1979 MGB. I'm selling the car for a friend and selling her at NO reserve. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is you chance to get a nice looking, running and driving MGB way the heck below the current market value. The auction is starting at $1 so make no mistakes this car is selling this week to the highest bidder regardless of sale price. So if your bidding your bidding to buy the car.
Mechanical s: The car runs great and drives very well. Car starts right up with no issues, smoke or noises. Car holds right around 70 lbs of oil pressure. Strong brake and clutch peddles. Runs drives great with no issues that I'm aware of. Great throttle response. Tight engine with no fluid leaks anywhere I can find under the car at this time. No body squeaks or rattles when driving the car. Recent tune up, oil change, new carburetor, new K&N air filter, new fuel pump, new battery and very good tires. Turn key car needing nothing I'm aware of at this time.
Gauges: All gauges are Smith brand correct and are in proper working order at this time. See photos
Electrical's : This area is in very, very good condition with the following items in proper working order. Head lights work ( high and low beam ), front maker lights work, front indicator lights work, front side markers work, front running light work, rear running lights work, rear indicator lights work, rear side maker lights work, rear brake lights work, rear back up lights work, blower fan works, the windshield wipers work and the stereo works ( new last week ).
Exterior: The car shows well in the photos and presents herself very well in person. Paint is of a good driver quality. No dings or dents I can find on the car ( very straight ). Car sits evenly and squarely on the ground with no visible signs of leaning or sagging. Note that this car does not have the Dreaded MG MGB left leaning issue that most always have. Body and panel fit are very nice. I find no evidence of any rust or rust repairs on the exterior. Note: the Tonneau / cockpit cover is brand new and was just installed this week ( cost nearly $600 ). Gives her that great period look. Interior: Nice overall / tidy. Nice seats and head rest. New MG logo floor mats, New stereo ( has MP3, Blue Tooth and remote control), new shift gator, new shift boot, new shift knob, new chrome shift ring and new chrome retractable antenna. Very presentable
Soft Top: The soft has 2 small tears that don't show up in the photos, but to ensure she's 100% next week a brand NEW correct and high quality Robbins soft top is being installed ( cost $800 ). Trunk: The trunk is rock solid. Car comes with spare tire / wheel, tools and repair manuals.

Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try Schumacher Cargo Logistics shipping for fast free quotes ( here / ). In Closing: The above description is my observations and opinions and they very from person to person so ask all questions prior to bidding. If I have missed anything in the cars description it was not my intention so please ask for as much detail as you need to make an informed decision on the car prior to bidding.
I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or the extra photos I have available please ask prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see and drive the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. One should expect one or two very small paint chips ( none of which show up in the photos ). Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her as is and mileage exempt. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end.
