1971 Mercury XR7 Convertible. This is a good running and driving XR7. It starts easily and shifts smoothly. It needs a new convertible top to be a daily driver. I have a clear Utah title in my name. The reserve on my Mercury XR7 Convertible well below the car's value. Please look closely at my feedback scores and the photos of the XR7. I want to be sure the new owner knows exactly what they are getting. With this in mind, I will list both the positive and negative aspects of the car: On the positive side: This is a running, driving, Mercury XR7 Convertible. It is almost rust free and has a good 351 V8 Cleveland engine. The power top works well and it would take very little to make the XR7 a good driver quality car. Again, please look closely at the photos. On the negative side: In order to make the car drivable, it needs a new top. In addition, the power windows need attention. There is a minor rust issue in the trunk that is clearly shown in the photos. The rust is where the convertible top folds into place when the top is down. There are some minor dents and dings in the body, but overall the body is in good shape. There are trim pieces for the wheel wells, front light brackets, and other small parts in the trunk. It needs a trunk lock. I will assist the shipper you select in getting the XR7 shipped anywhere in the world. If you have less than (5) five positive feedbacks in your Ebay feedback score, please message me or give me a call. My phone number is (801) 745-5835. I want this to be a good, straightforward, auction. I will gladly answer any questions you have about my Mercury Cougar XR7. Good luck bidding and I hope the XR7 finds a good home. It could be a great Christmas present.

“1971 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible. It runs, drives, and stops, but need some minor work to be road worthy. It is missing the convertible top and has a few minor dents. Please look closely at all of the photos. I have been over the XR7 with a magnet, and there has been no Bondo used on the car. The only rust issue is in the trunk and clearly shown in the photos. The floors and frame are in very good condition.”
