LAST BUYER COULD NOT BUY BECAUSE HE DID NOT CHECK WITH HIS WIFE BEFORE PUSHING THE BUY IT NOW BUTTON. .PLEASE ASK YOUR WIFE FIRST BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER...IT'S GETTING REALLY EXPENSIVE TO PLAY HERE!This 1961 MGA has had over $40K spent on a complete transformation to resemble an A/C Cobra. The body was removed and the front suspension was modified to handle the additional weight and handle well. The rear is a narrowed Ford inch with 3:91 gears. The transmission is a Chevy 4 speed with a HP clutch and pressure plate. The engine is a SBC 355 CI with a forged bottom end, ported 2.02-1.94 cast iron heads, 510-520 lift hydraulic cam, aluminum intake and Holley carb, HEI ignition with MSD box. The paint and body alone was over $10K. This car was built 6 years ago and has only been driven to a few car shows. I am over 60 and have decided to sell some of my collection.
