Our 1959 AMC Rambler Cross Country is a locally owned car from new. This vehicle was purchased from the original owner in believed to be the late 70’s by his neighbor and restoration began at that time. After setting in his building ( completed ) under cover for 10 – 12 years, the original owners nephew bought back the family heirloom. Our Rambler has only come up for sale three times in its existence.
Powered by the original rebuilt drive train, a 195 ci OHV I-6 mated to a three speed manual trans with column shift. A very dependable classic that can literally be driven anywhere with confidence. Odometer is showing 64,521 miles and title states actual. Interior is in very good condition with only minor blemishes due to age. Body is in great shape with beautiful paint again only showing very minor chips as seen in pics. Overall very solid car including the under carriage with no mentionable issues.
