This car has 25,6xx original mikes ln it! It is in amazing shape for the age! I am the 3rd owner and know the back story of the car from when it was bought new in 1948. The original owner spun a bearing in the car at 24,300 miles and then parked it in his basement. The man I bought it from locally, bought the car in the mid 80's off of the original owner and had the motor pulled and professionally rebuilt. He lost interest in the project and never put the motor back in. I bought the car off of him in 2017. It had 40 years of dust on it from being stored inside. I cleaned up the rebuilt motor, painted it, and put it back in the car. It runs like a clock! The interior is 100% original and is in pristine shape! No tears in the seats or headliner. Floors are rock solid. No rust holes anywhere on the car. I rebuilt the brake system also. The paint and chrome are original, but a little rough. I wanted to preserve the originality of the car as best I could. Has the 3 spd column shift with overdrive. The fuel and oil pressure gauges do not function. No cracked glass anywhere. New radial whitewall tires. Rides terrific! Car only leaves when I have cash paid in full on the spot!
