Turlock Machine
1931 Model a deluxe roadster in Washington blue.
This is my personal car that is for sale in order to purchase some new equipment for the shop.
The engine is the pit bull model a built by Joe Sivils at Turlock Machine and includes the following:
Insert bearings in the mains and rods
Counterweighted and balanced crankshaft
Small block chevy rear main seal. .. No rear main leak!
Silicon bronze rear thrust
Snyder 5.5 head
Leakless water pump
FSI zipper ignition
12v alternator
B grind cam
Modern stainless steel valves with one piece cast iron guides
Modern keepers and retainers
Single lock adjustable tappets
Lightened flywheel with new 39 style clutch assembly
The car has a 1939 ford transmission with a kling adapter for model a engines.
12v electrical system
wheels are 19 with goodyears on them.
Mechanical brakes
The paint has a couple of issues that are shown in the pictures on the blue. The black is very nice.
Someone installed a late 31 steering column mount so the tank should be removed, original mount repaired, and repainted along with the cowel, which would fix most of the paint issues on the blue.
The fenders are exceptionally straight without repairs, and overall, the car looks really presentable.
The upholstery is all in great shape and comes with the side curtains.
The car has roughly 2000 miles on the engine and it runs really nice and is ready to go for a spring time drive.
Thanks for looking.
