Selling my custom built 2009 Mini Cooper Mini Truck. Now, first and foremost, this car is FWD, not a 4x4, and is not adept at off-roading! We just thought it would be cool to make a mini truck out of this and thought it would look cool, and it does. This car originally started out as a Red Bull mini cooper with the ice chest in the back. We ripped out the ice chest and added an aluminum bed to convert it to this beast! This car gets more attention than any car I've ever owned, and I've had plenty of classic cars and trucks. First of all, lifting a mini cooper is not an easy task, so it's all custom, but it look great. The stance is perfect in my eyes! The car has 170k miles on it, so the motor is getting old but it still starts every time and runs fine. The extra weight and lower aerodynamics from the customizations has made the top speed drop, but its still a fully functioning car. Transmission still shifts smoothly. Because of the large spacers, there is some steering wheel play at about 43-47 mph, but it fades out after that. The brakes are still functioning and not squeaking but will need to be replaced soon. Tires are all brand new. The interior is in great condition, comes with a webasto ventilated moon roof. The only flaw with the interior is some cracking on the drivers seat bolster, I'll put in a picture. The car has a custom full exhaust, including headers with an o2 sensor so no CEL. The car is LOUD and i've debated putting on another muffler but I'll leave that up to the next owner. The paint is awesome and draws a crowd but isn't perfect. The aluminum bed is also custom hand made and is raptor lined. The A/C blows cold.

Now for the bad news- The car is awesome, but its not perfect. the car is all custom built by us, so there are a few problems with the car, nuisances more than anything. Because we had to remove the trunk latch and weld the trunk shut, every time you take off from a stop the car dings to tell you that the trunk is open. You get used to it after about 5 minutes but it is annoying. Like I said before, there is a shake in the steering wheel from the spacers. Also, for some odd reason, the car thinks that theres a bulb out, yet all of the bulbs and blinkers are good. I cant figure out why, but I'm still working on that and hopefully I figure it out. The car is by no means fast. It keeps up with traffic no problem but don't expect to be hitting any break neck speeds.
I love this car, and wish I could keep building on it, but it's time to make room for other projects. If I was going to keep the car, I was going to buy a John Cooper Works motor from ebay and drop that in, to give it the power it lacks.
In the pictures I included some pictures from the build.
I have a clean Nevada title in my name. From the previous owner, there had been some damage to the car, but just body work, so the title was never branded.
DO NOT CONTACT ME TO HELP ME SELL THE CAR. I don't need or want the help.
PLEASE pay the deposit within 24 hours or I will cancel the auction, and relist the car.
