I am an American, living in Spain, and I sell and export vehicles to the USA regularly. Although shipping costs are not included in the price of the sale, I work every month with an established worldwide shipper and will work directly with the buyer to arrange delivery to the USA. I will drop the vehicle off at the port of Valencia for you at no additional cost, prepare all the proper documentation for shipping to the USA, and handle all the US customs and importation on the USA side.
If you would like me to handle the shipping, customs paperwork, and everything for you, the cost is a flat-rate of $1900, port-to-port, to your choice of New York, Baltimore, MD, Jacksonville, FL or Freeport (Galveston), TX. No additional costs. No work on your part. You just pick the car up from the port, fully cleared and released.
Once the vehicle is in your possession, you will also have all the documents you need to register the car in 49 states (California excepted). I can even arrange transportation within the USA, from the port to your driveway. In short, I am here to help with every step of the process of delivering this vehicle to you.
You are of course welcome to fly here and test the car for yourself before you bid, but if that is not feasible, I will be happy to take additional photos, videos, etc. and send them to you. Whatever you need. We can speak on the telephone, or by Skype, so you can see the vehicle in real time before you bid.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?Range Rover Classics are enormously capable vehicles, yet have always led their class when it comes to civility and refinement, which makes it exceedingly rare to find low mileage examples. This one, which has been the charge of just two owners since new, has been regularly but sparingly used to the tune of just 54,000 documented miles. Approximately two years ago it was refurbished for adventure use, fitted with a complete Terrafirma suspension and oversized tires on the original 3-spoke alloy wheels, and a bespoke rear hatch area with storage drawers and an additional oversized spare tire. Since that time it has covered approximately 6000 kilometers of occasional use in the campo between its native Toledo and Madrid, where the previous owner used it as a weekend vehicle for camping and hiking trips with his children.
The chassis is straight and entirely rust free, with no underneath dents, scrapes or other evidence of serious off road use. The original Colorado Silver paintwork has been recently resprayed to a high standard, during which the black vinyl was removed from the C-pillars to provide the back-dated look of the earlier suffix trucks. Front and rear bumpers have been bobbed as another nod to the earlier examples. All exterior trim and detailing is in excellent condition and the wheels have only the slightest rash in a few places. The result is a beautiful RRC with magnificent curb appeal.
Inside, the interior is a mix of original and new. The chocolate dashboard has been retained, and is in excellent condition with some black detailing and no cracks or serious warpage. Seats front and rear have been recovered in a quilted black with white piping and stitching, with door panels to match. New black carpeting has been installed throughout the passenger compartment, and a new black headliner has been fitted.
With a 3cm suspension lift and 235/85-16 Dakar spec tires, it has a muscular stance and additional ground clearance befitting its legendary off road capabilities, but is still easy to get into and out of.
WHAT'S IT LIKE TO DRIVE?Since the name Range Rover has become synonymous with suburban boulevard luxury, it is easy to forget that the original examples were among the most capable off road machines of their era, and are still formidable adventure vehicles when the going gets tough. Most people forget that it was a Range Rover, not a Series Land Rover, which was the first motor vehicle to cross the dreaded Darien Gap. It was a Range Rover which won the inaugural Paris-Dakar rally (and then did it again a couple years later.) With its long-travel coil sprung suspension and permanent all-wheel drive, an RRC has always been a match for a comparable Defender or Geländewagen, yet is considerably more comfortable and refined than either on tarmac.
With low-mileage, petrol V8 muscle and a 5-speed manual transmission, this Range Rover drives as you would expect. The engine fires eagerly and idles smoothly and quietly, with no smoke or noise. Clutch takeup is firm and correct, and the gear change is slick and positive, up or down, through every cog. Underway, the engine is flexible, smooth and potent, and acceleration is every bit as brisk as it should be.
Entirely new bushings underneath mean the lifted suspension is well controlled on pavement, and the power steering (fitted with a new pump) is light and direct with no unwanted play. Brakes are strong and quiet, with no pulling or vibration at any speed. On the road, it is as quiet and composed as you like, even with the aggressive rubber, and it will happily run errands or take the kids to school without drama.
Off road, this RRC really comes into its own, however, and the added ground clearance and meaty open-block tires give it the ability to take you pretty much anywhere you need to go. Find a remote fishing hole, fill it with surf boards and run down to that hidden break that only the locals know about, or head up into the mountains for a weekend of camping. With the permanent AWD and viscous coupled automatic differentials, there is no mussing about. Simply point it where you want it to go and drive through, around or over pretty much anything in your way.
2-door Range Rover Classics are in the midst of a rapid appreciation curve at the moment, which also makes buying one now a smart investment strategy for the future, and with such low original miles, no rust and no accident damage, this one is an appealing combination. Freshly serviced and needing nothing for reliable daily use, it is ready for whatever adventures you care to put it to.
