This pickup was originally army, olive green then, it was painted red & used by the Forest Service as a volunteer fire truck. It ended up stored in a government building until being auctioned off about 10 years ago. I added 5 gallons of fresh gas, a battery, it started right up and I drove it home. It drives pretty well, the 318 engine has no problems & may need a minor tuneup, the tranny works well & the transfer case shifts like new. It would make an awesome snow pusher & just a fun toy. The only rust was in the floor just in front of the front seat on the driver's side (see picture). I removed the seat to get pictures of the floorpan, it is reinstalled now & is in good condition. The tires are matching & the tread is descent but they are weather cracked, the rims were changed from the original 16.5ers to an original set of 16ers.
