Up for auction is a 1972 MG Midget. While not a concourse restoration, it is a great example of an excellent driver.
The car was restored by a previous owner. The floors appear to have been replaced, the car painted, and a really nice cloth top (which is still in great shape) was installed.
The following items have been replaced since I purchased the car last year:
New fuel tank
New fuel pump
New fuel filter
New battery
New front arms, fulcrum pins, and swivel pins
New steering tie-rod ends
Rebuilt shocks from World Wide Auto Parts
New rear shock links
New tires
New cooling system hoses
New brake hoses
New rear wheel cylinders
New clutch slave cylinder
New clutch master cylinder
New bushings
New points
New cap, rotor, plug wires, and plugs
The car has a clear TX title in my name and is ready to be driven by the next owner.
A non-refundable $250 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction close and full payment is due within 7 days of auction close. I will accept a cashier's check or cash. The buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping.
1) I do not have the door and trunk key - only the igition key.
2) The previous owner had the incorrect speedometer for an A-Series car with a 3.90 rear end. I replaced it with the correct one but the car's actual mileage is unknown.
