1972 MG MGB GT. Great car but needs some work. Car appears to have been originally light beige but is now orange. Paint was done poorly and would need to be repainted. Car starts and runs and drives but needs a tune up. Runs rough and running way too rich I think. I bought car two years ago and thought I could restore this car but I don't know anything about British cars, where to get parts from at a decent price, and I just need space in the garage.
Most everything appears to be original and in keeping with the way the car should be (although I am no expert on these cars). I accidentally cracked a fender light lens while pulling in another car and there are odds and ends all over that would need attention if this was going to be a true restoration--which when added up is too much for me to handle. Maybe one could make this a good parts car but it would seem like a shame since it is very complete and runs and drives.
Wheels appear to have been powder coated and look really nice. Interior is in pretty good shape but does show wear in spots. This is not a car I would fly in for and drive home. This car runs rough. Brakes work. Trans works. But I wouldn't rely on it to take you far without going over it first. I bought it with two boxes of spare parts which would go with the car as well. Let me know if you have any questions or need more info. I'll do my best to get whatever is needed.
Also, this is a good car for the price I believe--for anyone who bids and wins the car and shows up and doesn't want it for whatever reason I will fully refund deposit (less my ebay fee--if any). I do not want anyone taking a car without being happy with what they bought.
