I bought this VW in Denver from a young man who was restoring it, a job opportunity forced him to sell to me. The brake work and motor were already installed. I stripped the old paint off, painted and installed the interior and trim.
|“Very solid body has original floor pan, Observation during current paint job shows driver side rear quarter panel was replaced somewhere in the past. Motor is a 1600 dual-port, engine code AH. Manual 4 speed. Lots of new parts, New chrome trim, New rubber window molding and Door seals, New trunk and Hood seals, New carpet kit, New front and rear brakes. Carb rebuilt, recently tuned, points and condenser, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. New dash panel and dash pad. New headliner and interior door panels . New Windshield too. Exhaust system has been replaced with headers so there's no heater boxes. Installed electrical heater for compensation. Side windows are old and have streaks in them from being rolled up and down, not bad but not perfect either. Parcel shelf/rear seat missing so there's more room in the back for storage. We just carpeted over it. Came out nice. See interior pictures. Seller reserves right to end auction early as vehicle is for sale on other sites and advertisers.” |
