Up for sale is my 1969 Dodge Charger. The car started life as a beige 318 Charger, but has been converted to a 440 big block with a 727 transmission and 3:23 sure grip 8 3/4 rear. Currently an RT tribute. The body, paint and motor were done approximately 6 years ago. The 440 is bored .30 over with a cam upgrade and 4 barrel carb. Car has disc brakes up front and drum in the rear. Power steering car.
Drive Train:
440 motor runs strong. The 727 transmission was rebuilt in November of 2016 and a 2800 stall speed converter installed. At that same time, a front-end rebuild kit, which includes all the bushing and tie rods and a power steering pump, was installed. The rear was also changed from a 2:76 open end to 3:23 sure grip posi. Car has new fuel lines, Carter mechanical fuel pump, and a new Holley Carburetor as well. The radiator is a 26 Be-Cool and the master cylinder was just replaced recently.
Body:
Quarters were replaced when the car was painted non-factory pearl blue. The car has one scratch that could be easily touched up on the front right fender (see video). The windows were replaced with OEM glass from a donor car (believe donor car was from a 68 Charger - see interior pics). If you plan to restore this car to show quality than a new windshield may be in order. I believe it is original to the car. Bumpers are in good conditional and grill is exceptional. Car has American Racing rims wrapped in nitto 555 tires, 20 in the back and 18 in the front. Has a 2 1/2 exhaust with Flowmasters on the car and the chrome tips were just installed. I included pics of the rear frame rails/quarter panels which appear to have rust damage that was poorly restored. Sunroof is not original to the car.
Interior:
Car has the am radio which works with modern radio in the glove compartment. The carpets, seat covers, headliner, dash pad and door panels were all replaced. Original steering wheel is in good condition. The gauges were upgrades for a modern look by the previous owner. Car was upgraded to painless wiring and all electrical items work properly including the front flip up headlights.
Overall, this is an amazing driver car that runs well and gets attention wherever it goes. It's not perfect which is reflected in the low price. I have additional parts not pictured that come with the car. Included is the wheelwell chrome trim, electric fan, window felt kit, california custom car cover ($300), as well as original turn signal parking lights for the lower front of the car. It has the Dixie horn because 'Merica. Also includes replacement stock style horns when you don't want as much attention. If you are a serious buyer and have any questions, message me and we will exchange numbers. Please have funds available and permission from significant other before bidding. Car is located in Orlando, Florida. Car is for sale locally, reserve the right to end auction if the asking price has not been met.
