Where do I even start ? Approximately 7-8 years ago I started on this 1969 C10 Short bed. At the time I had planned to just build a street driver / toy I could go to local shows and hang out. It got a little out of hand. I basically built my dream truck. This is an incredible truck with nothing to hide. It is a father/son build and we have had a lot of fun with it. I originally planned to keep the truck so my budget was the only limit.. He and I have built several First Gen Camaros and 67-87 trucks over the years but I must say this one is far beyond anything we have built. Dad's health is putting him more in the supervisor's role nowadays so we're slowing down a little bit. I hate to get rid of it, but adoption funds have brought on the sale. It has been fun!
Here's the story. I purchased this truck as you see it in the bare cab picture. Just a clean bare 69 cab and frame. It came out of Kentucky and yes, it had the normal rust in the rockers and cab corners. Nothing out of the ordinary for trucks in this area. At the time it had a 69-70 front end on it. I personally like the 1968 50th Anniversary trucks so I had this theme in my mind. It is not an original 50th, and I am not claiming it to be.. I just went that direction with the color combo. It is a BMW color called on Ontario Gold. The white isnt a pure white, it's called Speedway White. It was on the 2001-2006 (I think?) Corvettes. It is sort of a vanilla milkshake color.
You can read the entire build, in detail here and I encourage you to do so. It is a truck of the month winner on the 67-72 Chevy Trucks forum.

It is a long one.. I feel like the build will answer most of the questions you may have but feel free to ask away.
This truck is titled as a 1969. It is a 69 cab, with a 68 front end. It is NOT a CST truck. It started life as a 1969 SWB stepside. Originally gold, saddle interior with a 307, 3 on the tree. Pretty plain jane truck. I just took various parts I liked from each year model and put them together into my ideal 'favorite truck'. It wasnt built to be 100% original, just a cool truck that will be different at a show. And, man I tell you it draws a crowd.
Thank you for considering the truck. Again, if you have questions please feel free. This is a no excuses turn-key hot rod that will win a trophy at any local show and hold it's own at Goodguys. There is no warranty expressed or implied. Please ask any and all questions through eBay. I will not circumvent any rules. No scammers please. I will not respond to requests for shipments outside the US. I will not release the truck until certifiable funds have cleared my bank. This is not my first automobile sale on eBay. It is up to you to ask questions before you bid. Understand you are bidding on the truck sight unseen unless you, or a representative for you comes to physically evaluate the truck. You are entering into a legally binding contract to purchase the truck should your bid meet the reserve price. I will require a $500 non-refundable deposit within 72 hours of the auctions end, or a non-paying bidder will be filed. Additionally - Payment in full and completed transaction required within 7 days, or the truck will be relisted and the auction deemed void. This truck is listed for sale locally and could sell at any time. If you're interested, get your bids in early or it will be sitting in someone else's garage.
I have the capability to deliver the truck to your door. Not hired out, I will personally deliver it to you within 500 miles of Chattanooga. It will not be free. I will do it for $2 a loaded mile, in addition to the final auction amount, plus $200 trailer rental. I have also dealt with a few larger transporters, and I have access to a roll back if you prefer. I'll be glad to help however I can.
Please take a look at the pictures and build. Let me know if I can answer any questions, I know this truck top to bottom. If it hasnt sold by the end of the auction, the truck will be at the C10 Nationals in July. Hendersonville / Gallitin TN. Come check it out. It will also be for sale at the show. No Trades. No Buy it Now price. I will not reveal the reserve. - Thanks for your time. Chad
