Most of the description is above but will continue here. it has factory air, but need compressor...have some new air conditioner parts in box. Car runs very well of course with only 76,000 original miles! This is also recorded on the Title. It would really be a very easy restoration on this car because it is so very straight and solid.
Rust issues are not serious. The trim is mostly very nice, especially the grill and headlight doors, they are just about perfect and flawlessly bright, with zero pitting!
The valance below the grill has some slight damage also. ...When the car got damaged at the front bumper, it did put a slight crease in the front passenger fender just forward of the wheel opening...and it has some rattle can paint on the car in that area...see photo.
The whole car needs to be painted of course, but it still looks fairly nice, and we have many compliments on the car just as it is.
Front and rear bumper both have minimal damage...see photos
This car has the 440 Magnum engine in it (runs very nice and strong). .has owner card and vin number info to substantiate it.
There are other chrome parte such as taillight s that have pitting, but the pitting is not too bad. It has period correct add on side trim to prevent door damage, has been on the car since it was new as I recall. they have perfect protected the side of this car. .door dings are just non existent because of them. .and they look really attractive in baby blue!
This car is really a sweetheart, and is driven locally when it's not too warm out...the driver window was operating fine a few months ago too but not sure if it the motor or wiring that keeps the rear windows of driver window from operating. I did get another driver door switch but not sure about it. I'm very electrically challenged but mostly all is well otherwise, except left turn signal. It has an exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold where the yoke and exhaust pipe connect.
Buyer is responsible to pay for a box of tissue for us, and pay for any and all shipping costs to any location from our location (within 60 days please). Local pick up is also ok of course.
Vehicle is not offered with returns...purchase is AS IS condition. I have listed as much as I can and at limit of photos...but will answer more questions of course...I do not want any unwanted surprises to the buyer...trying to be as upfront and honest as possible.
|“This is a 76.000 original mile car. It does need to be restored as you may see by the photos. It has been kept in storage during the last 25 years. it has been in the family, but we have no way to keep stored now since we are moving. There is a hole in the floor where the air conditioner was dripping inside we think. It's a big hole about eight inches , but that is the only hole in the floors or trunk....it is a very solid rust free car. There are only some small holes, very small at the base of the exterior sail panels. there is no rust on quarters, doors or elsewhere except two small areas by the trunk lid. It needs the headliner, front seat and a couple panels on the seat back of the passenger front bucket. Carpet and door panels overall are not perfect but very nice still. Glass is mostly perfect with only a small crack that will not travel further up at the top corner of windshield. I will provide many more pics to serious bidders.” |
