This is a neat project for someone. It's a 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix...built in Southgate CA..looks to have been in CA its whole life. Has what looks like it's original 389 16K code engine and is actually a very original car. Only the passengers front fender is the non original body part to this car. Has a power steering box but no pump, power brakes, buckets and console with the vacuum gauge. Car looks to have been sitting for at least 30 years...possibly more.
Engine turns by hand, has an early Edelbrock EP4B intake and a junk Holley carb. Interior is very original and its needs redoing of course. Car in general needs restoration. Rear quarter panel end caps are not Grand Prix...looks to be Catalina...the Grand Prix ones were just blank without taillights. Trunk floor is rusted and needs replacing..probably the original trunk mat these cars came with did it in. Car comes with an extra windshield too. Doing have the inner fenders for the front and there is missing trim here and there. Weird spots of rust on tops of quarter panels might have originated from water getting in the trunk. Has a little rust through behind the tire on the drivers side...the typical GM area. Hood has a few rust spots on the front edge...drivers side. Floors look nice...check out the fear floor on the drivers side...you can see factory paint and primer...not too shabby for 55 years old. Steering column is for a column shift and put in years ago to move the car. Rolls and steers fine. Doesn't run of course...but engine turns by hand...trans fluid looks pretty good. The two red wheels on the drivers side are rallys from my van..they will be replaced with black steel wheels.
Missing a few things here and there..but overall a great start to a neat car.Can help the transporter on my end when he comes to pick it up.Check into shipping a non running car before before bidding if you need to get it transported.
Car is off CA DMV computers..have a signed application for duplicate title and bill of sale form for new buyers. Can also process a CA title in your name sent to you directly for $200.
If you want to come see the car before you bid...let me know! Dont bid then come to inspect the car. .your bid means you were willing to pay that amount with the information given. Describing a project car completely is impossible...so ask questions!! Mileage listed is just to confirm with Ebays from. Never looked at the odometer..
Payment must be in my hands within 5 days of auction end. Bank wire is fine...US Postal money orders too. No Paypal of any kind for this sale.
