This little Nash Metro 1500 series is a great little conversation starter!
It is a series IV, manufactured in January 1959 in Londonbridge, England. It is basic but classy for its time.
Runs strong, trim pieces in good condition, radial tires almost new, sides are straight and it has tons of visibility when driving. Solid trunk, no rust, all glass is clear. Simple instrument gauge cluster. The 59 weighed 1800 lbs, had a whopping 42hp motor with a top speed of 80 mph. New for 1959 included vented butterfly windows, and external deck lid latch to give access to the trunk from the exterior of the car. Finally, the interior diamond pattern seats completed the look.
Tons of documentation and practical restoration data that also includes wiring diagrams and extra parts. The gentleman that owned this car was an avid member of the Metropolitan Club. Plenty of news paper articles, Metro Club pamphlets, tshirts and hats.
I am posting this car for a friend, if you have any questions after viewing, please feel free to contact me for the info.
